Make it simpler to modify profile picture/link to social accounts

On the Account Settings page it does not seem like it is possible to add a picture. Where do you do this?

Also, it says to link to social account next time on the login screen, but for SAP employees with SSO enabled it never shows us the log in screen.

Hi Aleks,

if you click on the avatar in the header there will be a dropdown menu and in that dropdown you can click again on the avatar which will bring you to your profile where you can upload a picture. Or you can also call directly people.sap.com. We are currently enhancing the dropdown so that there will be an additional link to your profile.

Linking to social accounts should have the benefit that if you are for example already logged into twitter and then go to the community you do not need to enter your credentials again. Having as SAP employee SSO enabled has the same benefit. If you still want to link your SAP account with any social account you either need to do that in a browser which does not contain your certificate or configure your browser to prompt for your certificate which will then allow you to cancel it and proceed with the input of your credentials.

Hi Folkert,

Thanks for getting back to me. Without your feedback I definitely would not have figured out how to upload the picture. I think the enhancements that you have planned will help with this. One other minor thing in this respect, there is not the ability to move around the picture like you can with most other social media sites. So for me when I upload the picture my head gets cut off by the circle but it doesn't give me the option to adjust the cropping. This would be nice to have as well.

I had assumed that the link to other social media was for others to be able to link to your social media accounts, I did not understand that the purpose was only for SSO. Thanks for clarifying this.
