Password policy is asinine

I have never heard of a case-INsensitive password. And why does it need be exactly 8 characters? These policies encourage passwords that forgettable and not particularly secure.

Totally agree. Unfortunately, these password requirements are imposed on us by other systems, we can’t do anything about them.

It is a total shame to get such weak password requirements in 2016! It can be brute-forced easily in a day.
