Hey Paula,

Can you please provide a link where your name shows up with Ms.?

Thanks,

Gabi

Hi Kaushik,

The area that you marked with red refers to the screenshot that I showed in my previous answer. For example if you click on the Facebook button on that screen, you can link your Facebook account to your already existing SCN ID. It won't create a new ID on SCN. If you do that, you will see an entry on people.sap.com/manage (at the area you marked with red) that you have your Facebook account associated with your SAP (SCN) ID.

Best,

Gabi

Hey Kaus19d,

There is indeed functionality like that:

- Go to any community platform (e.g. blogs.sap.com) and click on the avatar image on the top right corner. If you are not using SSO, you will be presented with the login page, where you have the opportunity to log in via your Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or G+ accounts and link those to your SAP user ID (see screenshot below). You are able to see your already linked social profiles under your account settings at people.sap.com/manage.

- Social sharing is also available on the Blogs platform to share the blogs you like with one click. The same will be available on the Q&A system (answers.sap.com) too.

- To reach SAP's social media channels, check out the buttons at the very bottom of the page in the footer on Blogs or Answers. Will be available on the profile too in the upcoming months.

- Your personalized activity stream is the place to see the most recent happenings around content or people that you are following. You can get there by directly going to activities.sap.com or easily navigating by clicking on your avatar image in the top right corner after logging on and selecting "Followed Activities".

Hope this helped.

Best,

Gabi

Hi Arshiyan,

The update of followers/following is happening in migrations, the last one happening around April, therefore if there were changes in your social network (e.g. new people followed you since then) those won't be immediately reflected. The last migration of followers will happen at the go live of the new Community with the most up to date status of your social network.

Hope this answered your concern. If you face other problems than that, please let us know.

Best,

Gabi

Hey,

When designing the new profile, it was an intention not to copy the structure of the old SCN profile 1:1, but to provide something better. The previous SCN was based on one platform with all it advantages and disadvantages. In order to achieve better stability, architecture improvements and less problems than running on one platform, the new SCN will run on multiple best-of-breed platforms developed, customized and handled by SAP itself to provide a better user experience in the end. Due to these facts, settings and content cannot be migrated 1:1, but the most important items will be migrated, such as followers/followings, blog posts...etc.

Best,

Gabi
