Hi Aveek,

the system is designed like that. Whenever someone decides to follow you he/she can do so. I assume that you might also want to follow people since they post interesting stuff and those folks also do not know you necessarily.

Hi,

when you go to https://people.sap.com/ there is the "Elsewhere" section on the left side where you can maintain such information.

Hi,

there is no approval required. I do see two questions from today and one from 30/11. Please check your profile again.

When you view content on your profile you should be aware of the following:

We always display a cached version of the profile. Updates of a profile like showing latest content are being triggered whenever the last view of the profile is older than 10 minutes. After this update is being done you need to reload your profile again in order to seem them. Hence I assume that you either had a look at your profile after you submitted the question and it took place in less than 10 mins after the actual submission or that you did not reload the page.

We of course know that this is not the ideal situation and we are also looking into designing a faster solution.

Hi Aleks,

if you click on the avatar in the header there will be a dropdown menu and in that dropdown you can click again on the avatar which will bring you to your profile where you can upload a picture. Or you can also call directly people.sap.com. We are currently enhancing the dropdown so that there will be an additional link to your profile.

Linking to social accounts should have the benefit that if you are for example already logged into twitter and then go to the community you do not need to enter your credentials again. Having as SAP employee SSO enabled has the same benefit. If you still want to link your SAP account with any social account you either need to do that in a browser which does not contain your certificate or configure your browser to prompt for your certificate which will then allow you to cancel it and proceed with the input of your credentials.

Hi,

there is no functionality in place for that use case, therefore you have to register a new account with your current email ID.

Hi Mike,

can you please be a bit more specific what you mean by forum? Maybe you can also add an URL.

Hi Willi,

with getting no feedback on contact messages you are referring to the functionality "Send a Message" from your profile?
