We need a bit more context for your question. Is this in regard to SCN Profile or some product from SAP? If it is a product, then please go to answers.sap.com and repost your question there using a Primary Tag that reflects which product you are using.

Please post a Question using the Primary Tag "Using SAP.com" and specifically mention Brian Bernard (@Brian Bernard) in the Question. There was apparently a bug in the Document archiving/blog migration process, but so far he has managed to find all the missing children (er, Documents).

Some people edit their profile and add their email address as the first line. If you wish to do that, and remember it will be viewed by everyone, then go to people.sap.com which takes you to your personal profile. Click on Edit to make changes as you see fit. But again remember, everyone will see it. It is a little bit like the Status updates you could do in the old SCN. It is free form text and is a good place to put other information you might want to make visible like your company name, website, etc.

Even in the old SCN, email addresses were displayed or not displayed according to the person's settings. Many, if not most, people kept their personal information to themselves rather than making them public. You can still reach out to the person via the Chat feature. It still has some bugs, but is functional in Chrome (but not IE). Open a Chrome browser window and navigate to messages.sap.com. Click on the + sign, select Direct at the top of the popup window and enter Ricardo's SCN ID (ricardo.miranda78) which can be found on their page such as your url will direct you. Remove the @ from @ricardo.miranda78, copy and paste it into the search field and hit Okay at the bottom of the Popup. You should then see a chat window created with Ricardo's name. This a private chat between the two of you. You can also create group chats by adding multiple names one at a time and clicking on the checkbox next to their name when it comes up in the search results.

Hope this helps and if something is not clear, please reply back again.

What contact details are you missing and where did you look? I may be able to assist you in finding what you are looking for.

Can you explain which parts are causing the confusion? The organization in the new environment is substantially different and I am quite willing to help with the navigation as it can be confusing at times.

You are referring to Notifications, correct? The Notifications are simply a list of new stuff. Regardless of the type, anything new comes through as separate items. Not as good as what we had in the Communications folder which did indeed put all the updated material related to a specific item as one piece to review to be brought up to date. Wish we had it, but would recommend you post this suggestion in Idea Place, https://ideas.sap.com/ct/ct_list.bix?c=3F1503D6-1AE6-409A-A17A-8360D3F46A40. It is a good suggestion.

Email notifications are a known bug and on the list to be addressed. I do not know a specific date by which they should be fixed. Until that occurs, I suggest that you periodically sign in and check Notifications under your profile icon. I realize this is not the preferred method, but until this bug is fixed, it is that or checking the tag pages for specific topics/solutions updates.

Apologies for the deficiency in the new environment. IT is working on this and other issues to resolve them as soon as possible.

Hi Ramesh,

Discussions from old SCN are in the archive (archive.sap.com). I have not tested the search functionality thoroughly, but suggest that you go to the page and search for your SCN ID and see if your content is readily found. If there are issues with the standard search functionality, give either of these two custom Google searchs a try. I use the standard search and each of the customs regularly. Each has its good points.
