I have a request in for that change. Either a new link or change the name to My Profile and make sure it is obviously a link instead ofbeing hidden in the icon or name. Wish I could give you an estimated date for implementation, but hopefully soon.

Hi Karan,

The mechanism is to include the member's scn ID. You can access their profile and copy the "@firstname lastname" and paste it in your blog, comment, question, etc. Please try it and see if there is any issue with doing so. It has worked for me, but I have only done it a limited number of times, so not fully tested.

Cheers, Mike

Hi Karan,

This is not a new feature, but simply the same set of controls in place as we had in the previous version of SCN. This is a privacy consideration as much as anything else. Members have the choice of whether they are made available for private messages by choosing or not choosing to follow someone. Generally we encourage people to post publicly so solutions and information are as widely disseminated as possible with the greatest benefit to the entire community. Private messages should generally be restricted to only confidential or proprietary content necessary to be shared for members to arrive at a solution.

Another communication option is also to post your own email address in your profile and request that a poster send you an email. But please do not post your email in any Blog, Comment, Discussion, Answer or Question. That is a violation of the Private Information part of the Rules of Engagement.

I looked at the tags and could not find one for University Alliance in the About Tags spreadsheet, nor in Semaphore Workbench. I also searched and found old blogs, discussions (in the archive), but no primary tag or new content with a tag related to UA. I would create a Question in answers.sap.com with the Primary Tag of "Using SAP.com".

Try clearing the cache in your browser and looking again. What url are you visiting that you do not see the profile picture?

They should be visible in the archives. Try these three different search choices as they are each with their own strengths and uses:

https://onedx.find.sap.com/

https://cse.google.com/cse/home?cx=013447253335410278659:5di2969x5we

Willy,

This needs to be posted in answers.sap.com, not as a separate item here in UserEcho. Please use the "Using SAP.com" as the Primary Tag.

For one, the links to Brian won't work here, so he probably won't see the issue.

Which data are you looking for? Try going to people.sap.com. This is your profile. It is laid out a bit differently. If you want to display your email address or other information to the public, add it under your profile picture by clicking on Edit.

If you are looking for your points and badges from old SCN, then click on Legacy Badges (lower left). However, those are not going to be migrated or updated. This for informational purposes only.
